37	As you will see in these pages, Tolkien is not an ordinary author, in the sense that his works bring many commentaries and reactions in many fields. The literary approach is of course the first to consider with novels among the most famous of the English speaking countries, and a great many studies and analytic works in those same countries. Unfortunately such studies are rare in French, whether they are translations or works by French authors. I say "rare", for it seems that the craze is bursting forth, little by little.
